The loud noise startled Terra. She'd just been trying to figure out how she would fit a cap on top of the round hole while making it collapse when someone stepped on it. Terra hadn't wandered very far from her last trap. Spinning around Terra stared in surprise as her trap worked beautifully. She hadn't expected someone to fall in there so quickly. Terra had thought herself very much alone in the city. More time than she'd thought must have passed when she was absorbed in making the contraptions.
Grinning to herself Terra headed over to the mess. She pushed at it, whining slightly when she realized that she couldn't get through in lupine form. Taking a breath she sat down and began the strenuous change to optime. Her bones cracked rotating around, sending shivers up her spine. It didn't hurt, but it sure sounded like it did, and that freaked her out. Terra supposed eventually she'd be able to tune out the sound, but until then Terra had to fight to keep shifting, stopping her fight or flight feeling.
It took some time, but Terra managed to drag herself to the top. At a few points her fur got caught in the metal, tearing into her skin. It was only scratches though, so she ignored the slight bleeding. Reaching the top Terra looked down to see who had gotten trapped. She was surprised to see a very much regular looking wolf below. Hello! Curious Terra began sliding down the other side. Hitting the ground Terra looked at the wolf, examining him. He smelled different than her, but she didn't know if that was because he was a full blood where most of her relations were hybrids or not. Need some help? Terra wasn't going to admit she was why he was there, or that she was laughing at him. It was far more amusing to keep it a secret.
