His look made her skin crawl and revulsion fill her body. What had happened to him? His words had her fur spiking and sticking up everywhere and a dark growl left her body. The blackness threatened to consume her again, to take her over and rent and tear, rip flesh and drain the life from his body. She couldn't kill him, not her Noah, not her own brother. So while the pupils of her eyes expanded and blocked out much of the color, glimmers of blue and amber could be seen within the black depths. She growled again, louder, more threatening and then she was down the stairs into the basement so fast it was like she had teleported. Her fist met his jaw with a crack of bone hitting bone and the sable man's head snapped back as he crumbled to the floor like a sack of wet sand. She stared down at him with a disturbing look on her face, struggling to contain the hand that sough to reach for her knife and end his existence.

The female grabbed the skin and fur at the base of his neck and physically hauled him back up the stairs and through his bottle strewn house. Now that she saw better in the gloom she could hear and see that some of the bottles were still full or half full. The door was wrenched open and the enraged woman dragged her stupid stupid brother out into the sunlight and snow. She left him there in the snow on his side so that he didn't choke on his own vomit and systematically screened the entire house, looking for any and all bottles she could find, tearing apart furniture and anything she could get her claws on to make sure she had every last bottle and shroom. A pile was made that eventually about three feet at its highest point. Many of the bottles were open and so alcohol leaked out over the entire contents. With a fearsome scowl the woman struck a match and flicked it into the pile.

The bottles went up in seconds, the alcohol burning off at a furious pace, incinerating the mushrooms and other paraphernalia she had found. When the poisons were well and truly obliterated did she turn to the blacked out man laid in the snow nearby. She picked up the rain barrel full of water and poured it over his head, the cold would wake him up. She could not believe he would have been so stupid and dumb. He had seen what drink and drugs had done to Lucifer and now it was doing the same to him, she had seen the way he sneered, disrespecting her and her rank, everything that had held them close.

As she waited for him to wake, sorrow and sadness bred in her heart, what had possessed him to do this? Had Lucifer's ghost come back to torment his son in death as he had done in life. None of it made sense and the hybrid was demoralized by the turn of events.
