It was not the White Lady who came to her, but X'yrin the Kozan and this was no surprise. It had been the Exultare's voice that had risen high in the air and found Nayru's ears, spurring her to her own song. Yet Nayru did not lift herself as she heard and smelt the woman's approach. The tiny lady let the other come to her, and kneel besides the Jiryu, a gentle hand reaching out to offer her comfort. Nayru remembered the feel of Razekiel's hand, in much the same motion, and realize how little she was touched and how often she craved it. Especially these days, it seemed, weighed down with the weight of unborn children both physically and emotionally.

"X'yrin." Her soft voice came even softer, more an idea of a sound than an actual sound. Nayru was aware of the owl's presence, the soft click of concern and she marveled at the lesser creature's emotions. Yet still garnet eyes did not lift and merely she sat folded in on herself, clutching her legs, head resting upon knees. She willed X'yrin to stay there, for the warmth of the woman's hand upon her back not to leave her, but she could not say this aloud. For a long moment she said nothing aloud, merely leaning in slightly more to X'yrin's good will.

Finally she thought of words, and why they took so long she did not know. "I am tired." Yes, that was it. Simply she was tired. Tired of her predicament, tired of searching for a home, tired of trying to pretend that what was happening to her actually wasn't. Slowly she unfolded herself and immediately regretted the coldness that found her upon unfolding. Turning her crimson gaze to the lady of the Envoy rank, she merely reiterated what she had already said. "I'm just tired. That's all."
