In the direction of Wentworth they moved, and Nayru found that slowly her strength was returning to her. It seemed that now and then she merely suffered from bouts of weakness, that came and went. Much like the waves of sickness they were unpredictable in their timing, but most often short lived. And also like the bouts of sickness they left the woman feeling empty, both physically and emotionally. Hunger haunted her then, but something more ate away at her insides. As if the beings she carried fed upon her very soul, consuming whatever energy could spare for them, and still hungry, what little energy she tried to keep for herself. Yet as they walked she withdrew her arm and hand from the Nomad, walking on her own then although the steps were still slow.

Nayru could not help but notice the change in X'yrin demeanor at the mention of Saluce's name and she felt guilty for before it had been an uneasy topic between the two of them. Yet Nayru was unsure if the man knew fully of Nayru's pregnancy, and the conditions surrounding such an occurrence. Always the protective father figure of her, she did not know whether he would be pleased or worried, and even Nayru wondered if he would grow angry or upset. Yet she voiced none of these concerns out loud, merely shaking her head to indicate that the man would not bother her in the slightest. "I only hope that I do not bother him." Nayru felt then like an intruder, for she was not only moving into X'yrin's space, but space that the man probably thought of as his as well.

It was soon that they came to that space, and Nayru's cherry eyes scanned the opening. It was small enough for the Jiryu to duck into, and she did so, guided by X'ryin's gesture. As the lady's eyes adjusted to the dimmer lighting within, she held out her hands, looking to see how the white of her fur showed up but the black seemed to blend in with the shadows of the den. It was as if little tiny parts of her body were missing then. The thought amused Nayru as she did not wait for X'yrin to direct her to any one part of the den, but merely slide down into a sitting position against the cool wall of the den, glad to be off her feet once more.
