He seemed to be enjoying the game as much as she was, and when she disappeared under her occasionally creepy, sometimes ugly but always lovable doll, she thought that maybe he would actually let her win, something that was virtually unheard of in the little girl's world up until that point. At his admission, she grinned and wagged her tail a bit, feeling somewhat squished, and then squeaked as Bug began moving atop her, curling into a ball and expecting him to go flying. He didn't, though; that was somewhat strange, and Sophie opened her eyes curiously to the dark world beneath her doll to watch as it was shifted, inch by small inch, away from her. Maybe Skoll wasn't as strong as she'd thought; or maybe Boothe was much weaker than he was supposed to be!
She liked that second thought better.
When the doll shifted enough off of her for her to get up, she did so, leaping to her feet and bouncing over to Skoll with her tail wagging and her tongue hanging out happily. Skoll didn't seem to want to play anymore, though, as his incredible feat of moving Bug those few inches had probably tired him out. His compliment made her ears perk and a grin spread across her face, her tail wagging furiously. "Bug my protector! Save me from Boof!" She explained happily, and moved over to nudge her doll gently, cuddling up to him the way she would her brother, if he wasn't such a stinker.
She wasn't expecting an attack, though, and squealed again as she was bowled over, Skoll's bigger puppy paws pinning her wiggling body quite completely. She struggled for a moment, and then huffed and whined, pouting. "No fair! Wasn' ready!"
