She did not respond to his remark; nor the testing of her name. She had found that many had a proneness to use someone's name soon after they learned it.. Or, in some cases, in every sentence after that.
"He's being friendly enough," She thought, softening up a bit. Bambi was startled at his eagerness to teach her. Her main intention of asking him was above all something she was just trying to use to change the subject.. "To not give him time to hang on the strange gesture he was forced to accept." She wanted to ensure that he meant what he said; about not needing anything in exchange. In her damaged mind, it was very unlikely that he would just give lessons without expecting anything in return. She hadn't thought so much on what he'd want back- But she didn't care. The horse was beautiful, and Fern's nicely shaped body looked as if it would fit perfectly with her own.
She placed two paws on the horse's side, tapping twice- Almost as if to ask for acceptance. Finding that the horse didn't take off, she assumed it would be alright with a new rider. She lifted herself, hopping on top of the gentle beast. She pet the sides of its' neck in an affectionate manner, then focused back on Wayne. "What now?" She already knew how to get the horse going in certain directions- But she wished to learn how to do it properly; mostly to ensure that she wouldn't hurt this horse or any in the future.
