If there was one thing Shandom loved to do, and had loved to do his entire life, it was explore. The male had an insatiable appetite for knowledge and women, though the latter had been lacking in recent weeks. Every fiber of his being felt antsy; Shandom had no knowledge of the southern lands, despite having lived in them for... what, the past moon? Two, almost? Somehow, he'd lost track of how much time had elapsed since he came to the area. Perhaps it was the mediocrity of the days, or the slowness of the changing seasons - regardless, the overcoming desire to explore was almost too much for him. And so he'd found himself avoiding Cours des Miracles, travelling in aimless and nonsensical directions. Now he was here, close to a pack he knew nothing about, but cold tell was there.

If Shandom had greater courage, he'd go to the borders and try and figure out who these wolves were. He felt rather shady sneaking around marked lands like a criminal, but he had absolutely no desire to antagonize anyone. Plus, he'd heard rumors that wolves in this area had waged war recently, though the Qi'Vaex man had absolutely no idea he was at the borders of the antagonists. It was this ignorance that best demonstrated the extent to which Shandom had gone to keep himself out of recent politics, though he would not admit this to himself. He was a self imposed loner within a pack, with few acquaintances and even fewer allies. It was, though, all right. The last wolf he could call a friend was Keliyya, and it had been almost a year since he saw the beautiful and petite chocolate woman.

Thinking of her made an ache and desire grow within him; Shandom knew what it meant. He wanted the pleasure of a woman, more than absolutely anything. It would relieve his stress and bring him happiness, if only for a brief moment.
