Helotes made it his mission to get this female to smile this evening, even if it meant getting her piss drunk. He grinned again when she asked what the contents of the bottle were; oh this was going to be fun. To show her that it was indeed ingestible and not some poison or other nefarious thing, Helotes removed the twin and cork of the bottle and took a swig. The liquid hit him like a brick wall and he could not help but cough; he had forgotten how strong it was; rot gut Luperci vodka for sure. His throat calmed but continued to burn and he offered the bottle to her, You’re adventurous right? What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Once the bottle was relinquished he watched her reaction with relish; he remembered the first time he had taken the drink, he had been quiet young, he and his brothers had swiped some liquor from their father. That had been a fun night, their drunken voices hand sung out into the night until they had been caught by their mother and severely punished, but ah it was worth it. Helotes clung to happy memories such as these, for as of late the interactions with his family had been cold.
