The salty taste in his mouth didn't bother him at all, this was a fight. A spar actually, but a fight was what it simulated. Of course had this been a real enemy both would be ripping each other to shreds, but both realised each others use to Inferni and of course didn't want to deal out too much damage. Which, unknown to both of them, they'd need in the future. But of now both kept themselves fit with sparring.And it was good Inferni had a diverse range of fighters, Vesper with her speed and agility and Angel with his mass and brute strength were two present examples.
He watched her go for his shoulder and almost missed the quick move for his hind leg, but luckily this was when his height came as an advantage, lifting his hind leg out of her reach and grasped for her tail with his wolfish jaws. Then he moved his back legs and tail so that Vesper couldn't copy him. Favouring his method from a moment ago, he held on tight and tugged back on her tail, hoping to knock her from her feet and he speed took her forward and his wolfish jaws backwards. With a fierce growl, he let go and leaped backwards, preparing himself for another tussle.
