Helotes watched the exchange between Ilusion and Columbine with bated breath. They both were the most fiery, most hard-headed, most stubborn of the siblings and when they clashed there were always fireworks. And today did not seem to be the exception, for despite Columbine’s sweet words they were met with Ilusion’s venom. She bit down on Columbine’s forearm and he jumped back, a vicious look briefly flashing across his face. Had they been younger, had this been a happy time in their adolescence, Helotes would have laughed at the sight of them. But things were different now, at least, one of them was different, and in the moment that the look of Kerberos flashed over Columbine’s face Helotes’ hair bristled and a teeth were bared for a moment, in preparation for an attack. But the attack never came, and Helotes quickly calmed his stance and face as Columbine apologized to the both of them.

How strange, it was amazing the power that Ilusion held over her brother. If it had been any other individual; male, female, young, old; Columbine would had struck back with ferocious and vicious power. It seemed as if the darkest of the siblings had turned even darker in the past months, and walked on a knife's edge between complete uncaring and vicious violence. Helotes would have to keep an eye on how the two interacting in the future, for such a power could easily turn out not to be an advantage for his sister, but instead a death sentence.

Helotes was so deep in thought that he nearly missed Columbine asking if he had called Ezekiel yet, Oh! No sorry. He said in English, not bothering to speak their language any longer if the Aquila would soon be here. Helotes raised his maw and let out a loud and strong call for the Aquila, making sure to let a lilt in his voice tell that it was not he alone that waited on the leader.

After he finished, he turned back to the two, Columbine, Valla has given birth, we have three new half-siblings. He smiled, though the smile was not completely sincere, since he himself was not sure how he felt about that prospect, Ilusion says father is… happy. It was so strange to say that, for Helotes had thought once that Kerberos lacked the ability to feel joy. But it seemed this was not the case, and Helotes was curious to see how his brother would react to such news.
