Occ: I don't think Essence will be in the thread. So i am going to write that Sarian made it to safty. Sorry if this is a monster post. X'yrin first then no post order. Forward dated to the 5th

Sarian was excited. She was finally going to have some family time outside the house. Her mother had decided that she needed to get out of the house and Sarian was more then willing to go. Kiara was to come with them and Sarian brought her ball with her. It was blue rubber ball and Sarian enjoyed chasing after it and pouncing on it. Sarian was still not used to the snow but it didn't stop her from playing in it and chasing her ball. She was having so much fun running around, leaving trails in the snow and paw prints. The snow made her little paws cold and numb and the hard packed ground made them sore when they thawed. She yipped for them to keep up, that she was ready for some play time and more ball chasing. Sarian had made it to the clearing before everyone else and had chased her ball all over the field. She had must scared some nesting birds when her mama made it to the clearing. Sarian had smiled and her silver blue eyes glowed as she ran to her mother. On her way to her mama she lost her footing and her ball and when she gained her footing back she went after the ball. She didn't hear her'mothers voice to stop only that she wanted her ball. She caught it half way down the hill and tried to stop only to find that she couldn't. She spun out of control and she howled for help only to see her mommy running after her. She was so close to the river when her mama's warm, smooth hands caught her, pulled her against her. She could hear her mother whispered in angered but loving tones and Sarian whined as she was scolded. Suddenly there was a crack and Sarian remembered flying though the air and hitting a mountain of snow as her mama screamed for help as the ground gave way under her grey paws. She watched in horror as her mama clawed at the frozen ground only to find she couldn't hold on and was swallowed by the black swirling river that proceeded to carry her down stream.

Shiloh wasn't sure if X'yrin heard her cry for help as the earth cumbled under her paws. She had had seen Sarian land safely before the earth disappeared and she was swallowed by the black, freezing depths of the half frozen river. She felt like she was being cruched, no way of knowing what was up or down. Her lungs burned and her hands reached for something, anything to help pull her out of the subzero water. She struggled to kick and found her nose broke the surface enough for her to breathe some before she was dragged back under. She collided with something hard and she felt a sharp pain in her side, followed by another in her stomach. Was this the fates way of punishing her. She couldn't lose her pups this way. She didn't know how long she was in the freezing water but time all but stopped for her as the burning in her lungs stopped and she no longer felt the crushing abyss that was the river. She could see her family growing clearer and clearer each passing moment and she knew she was dying. The thought of finally being with the family she lost so many moons ago made her heart swell. She reached for her mother and she shook her head as her fathers muzzle started to move. She couldn't hear them and she called out to them as fluid rushed into her lungs, suffocating her. "Mom? Dad? Anya? Please... let me go with you. Where is Lucian?" She asked as her mother shook her head again and her sister pointed to her stomach with sad grave eyes. Her father walked up to her and again whispered that it wasn't her time to go, that she had people that loved her and wanted her to live. The sharp pain in her stomach came again and she wondered if it was her father giving her the strength to kick up, to live and breathe. She broke the surface again and was able to grab a root and pull herself into the twisted, exposed roots of the tree, stopping her journey down the river but not making it to safety yet. The water threatened to sweep her away and she couldn't breathe though all the water in her lungs. She felt the pain again, worried that she and her pups wouldn't make it. "Som....someone!.... he....help me!" she attempted to cry as she held on for dear life.
