The monotony that was the daily lives of the Wentworth Ichikan wolves came to a literally screeching halt in a display of speckled feathers and flaunting talons. To dispel his boredom with the static lives of the earthbound wolves, the nameless owl had taken off in search of amusement, spanning a great distance in so little a time since gifted with flight. And to his searching eyes, he spied an event of wonderment; a gathering of earthbound creatures and their counterparts. Collections of objects both mundane and rare, tests of strength and finesse pitted against each other. It was a celebration of sorts, a melting pot of beings and wares.

He had to make his master the wiser to it or risk the monotony of the days never ending.

And so upon his return, he assaulted the air with his cries and tales of what he had seen. He hovered above the Wentworth wolves’ dens, coaxing them to rise at the first light and greet with wonderful news with attentive ears. Bonded as she was to the creature, X’yrin would be the first to greet him. Her disposition was considerably better over the past few days but it was not without a remnant of the dulled glaze to her usually brilliant orbs. Though she managed to smile, albeit it was weighed with fatigue. The rest of her form was in a considerable disarray lacking the meticulous grooming tongue or the determined dexterous fingers to weave the wild auburn strands into neat and orderly braids. She looked the part of a wild, tired creature, bent on appeasing her companion if only to silence him and steal a few more moments to herself and rest.

But it was to no avail. Upon seeing her, the nameless bird swept down to her shoulder immediately gently clasping her shoulder as he went on to talk of what he had seen with a stolen autumn lock bothered within his beak. He was more animated than she had ever seen him before, wings unfurled and waving as he exclaimed with contagious energy. As he went on, the woman’s tail wagged excitedly whilst she whined in mirth. The image in her head became of one of the Nomads setting camp with neighboring packs as they offered their wares and knowledge for goods. From her companion’s excitable explanation, this set up was very much like that and awarded an opportunity to take part in that wonder once again.
