Back-dated to the 18th of January, early evening.
Blind's stomach was full enough to be satisfied now, but she had left the hybrid feeling very...off. It was hard enough that the creature was basically a purified version of her dear friend, but the reminder of how much she missed the spunky coywolf was almost enough to knock her to her knees. She trudged along in her optime form now, rubbing her face exhasperatedly in an attempt to clear her mind...but to no avail. Her brows pinched together as she scolded herself internally for caring so much, continuing to trek forward and explore the northen territories. She wasn't about to go to bed upset, no matter what it took.
She hadn't travelled long before she felt the need to sit down again. Despite how much pain her transformation had alleviated from her hip and leg, it still returned in little spurts every now and again. Nestling down in the snow, she kneaded the muscles on her tainted side until they felt workable again. However, instead of rising to her feet to continue on, she rested her back against the tree trunk beside which she sat and just stared off in a daze. She never took much time to just sit and think, but she supposed now was as good a time as any. Her nose tilted skyward, images of defining moments in her life flashed before her mind's eye, and she let out a soft whimper at the realization that she still didn't truly know who she was or where she belonged. Mom would be so disappointed, she thought, BOTH of them. She was a nomad, a wanderer, a bum...a low-life with no motivation and no loved ones to speak of, or at least none that were nearby. Shrugging away from the tree, Blind stared at her lap as her mind raced to grasp a possible solution; at this point it seemed there were none. And then, for the first time since perhaps her birth mother's death, tears filled those bi-colored eyes and she cried...cried until she felt the pain fade to numbness.
