The sound of Skoll's laugh brought a smile to the charging coyote's face. She was pleased that the pup was enjoying himself, and Terra was learning some new strategies. She was unsure how useful they would be, only being tested against a puppy, but they were tricks that larger creatures could use. Maybe she'd still be able to teach Skoll tricks once he got older after all. Terra laughed silently at the image in her head, Terra standing tiny against a large Skoll, trying to convince him to let her show him at trick. That wouldn't happen.
Her porcupine trick worked quite well, flipping Skoll onto his back. Happily she licked at his exposed stomach. Sharply Terra pulled away at the prince's wail of complaint. Her mind ticked through her actions, trying to figure out if she'd harmed him in any way. This was something new for her. There was a very good chance that she'd damaged him. Had she grasped too hard? Twisted and injured something? Whining Terra looked him over, looking for the injury. He might have landed on a sharp rock. Whining she nudged at him, worried.
