Regner, as always, is in Optime. Back-Dated to the 18th.

Birdsong echoed pleasantly in Regner's ears as the large dale strode through the tree cover of the area that the locals called the Etheral Eclipse, though Regner himself had no knowledge of this name. For the past few days Regner had been making his was down here, following the small snatches of scent down towards where he believed another pack to be. However the weather this morning had proved to be much more pleasant than the precedent that had been set for the area.

While Regner himself wasn't overly bothered by the temperature change it did provide an opportunity for Adelle to stretch her legs a bit without getting too cold and so the elderly hybrid had abandoned his focused search in favour of wandering the forest aimlessly at a leisurely pace, letting Adelle direct their travels as the puppy dashed about through the undergrowth, moving constantly with a seemingly endless amount of energy.

Regner took a moment to admire Adelle as she ran, his eyes glinting with pride. Even at her young age Adelle's blood was starting to show through in her size; Adelle was already heads and shoulders above the size of a wolf pup or smaller breed of dog even without the thick, fluffy fur that adorned her, increasing the pups impressive size further.

Of course despite her relative size the pup was still small compared to Regner, the both of them sharing the same blood which granted her size, and while many might have mistaken her for an older pup she was still very much visible as the young dog that she was to Regner, an observation compounded by her current behaviour, racing around trees in chase of some invisible prize that only she could see.

Still, in a way Regner was glad of Adelle's continued childishness. The dog had been worried how the loss of her family other than him would have affected Adelle but it seemed that between her nature and simply being too young to make sense of what had happened Adelle was adapting well, better than him as it was.

At some point he would have to tell her what had happened, explain the situation fully. But that day was many months away, for now he would just let the poor child enjoy what was left of her childhood.
