when the cowboy's away...

S'alright Big Grin Also, something like this should happen between them soon. Tongue

Wayne seemed almost disturbingly oblivious. Or he was keeping in tone with his stature and gruff demeanour with the simple snort he made. Wayne busied himself tugging the horses along, a gesture that looked pointless to Sebastian but undoubtedly served some higher purpose that was visible only to those trained in the way of the horse. Or would it be the way of the cowboy? Whatever it was, Sebastian stepped smartly out of the range of the horses' legs. They might strike out at any time, after all. Tupelo was eyeing him as though she was just waiting for the right moment to put a hoofprint on his chest.

Huge but very gentle. "Very well," he said warily. Not unlike Wayne himself, then, or Jazper. Then again, who knew? Jazper could certainly get rough when he wanted. Maybe Wayne had a similar streak. Sebastian indulged his fantasies as he trailed beside Wayne to the stables, slightly closer than necessary. Purely for protection from the horses, of course.

Wayne led him to the stables without incident. Clearly, the presence of her master kept Tupelo in check. Naturally, Wayne slapped the horse to send it running back into the stables and took the saddley bits off of the other one. What was its name? Bucky?

Whatever. Wayne let out a short, small bark. This was apparently the signal to summon a demon lord from the depths of Oblivion. The huge horse trotted from the dark corner in which it had secreted itself, eyes glowing red with the flames of Satan. Sebastian's jaw dropped slightly as he took a step towards Wayne, hiding himself a little behind the muscular cowboy.

"Ahhh-kay," he said slowly, swallowing. His arms shifted backwards slightly, ready to rise and protect his body. He paused.

"I don't think I can get up on that," he said, the reality of the situation sinking in. This monster could crush him without even trying.
