His arms were pushed apart, Sebastian slipping into them. His eyes cracked open, wondering if Sebastian was asking for yet another round. He'd already proven eager, though the actions were strange. Hadley wondered how anyone could enjoy being treated like a female. His arms remained circled around the small red male. He looked down quietly, wondering why. Was Sebastian wanting to snuggle, or just making sure he didn't run off? He stayed still as Sebastian adjusted, moving to fit against Hadley's larger body.
A soft kiss followed, leaving a question that Hadley couldn't speak. Surely he didn't want more, but he kept touching Hadley, kept kissing him. Even when they were doing nothing. It was almost as if Sebastian believed he'd turn into dust and disappear like he'd never existed. Hadley had been pretty close to doing that. Another month and there would have been nothing left to save, just an obedient husk of what used to be a wolfdog. Hearing the question his eyebrows raised. His birthday. His last one hadn't been celebrated, having no friends from his wild lifestyle and far from his family. Sometime in June, I think. He reached up, touching Sebastian's head gently before lowering his hand and falling asleep, unafraid for once.
