I'm really sorry about the wait dear, I'm not usually this bad! Are we alright to backdate this to the 3rd?

The young male had returned from the winter festival in high spirits and it had remained with him as he'd spoken with Saluce yesterday. His adoptive father was about to get married and Saul had given him a wedding present that perhaps wasn't the usefullest of presents, but it certainly was pretty. Saul knew that Saluce wanted him to be the one to marry them, but as with Nayru and Gideon's wedding, the male was hit with bouts of nervousness every now and then, unsure of whether he was able to do it again. Nayru and Gideon had fallen apart and Saul had no desire for this to happen to Saluce and X'yrin. They were good together and he wouldn't be able to cope if they broke up not long after their wedding. Still, the festivities was an excuse to get together and Saul knew that it would be a good party and it would bring Ichika closer together. They'd had a few new members recently and Saul didn't know if he'd met all of them yet.

It bought him to another topic that had been weighing in the back of his mind- Temeraire's official introduction into the pack. Saul intended to have a party when his son turned two months old, to announce his presence and to celebrate a new life into the pack. He had no desire to muddy Teme's party with Saluce and X'yrin's wedding and it had been an issue that had troubled in his mind. He could see that his son was beginning to get impatient in the den with Nayru, but there wasn't much Saul could do about that. He was still a few weeks too young to be exploring anything and Saul had to admit to himself that he wasn't entirely happy about letting his son go out into the world. He'd heard of so many mishaps going on that it scared him to no end, but it was just another thing that a parent had to allow their child to do.

Saul had decided that today he would spend some time with Maia and Gypsy, making sure they were both okay. The mares were both pregnant and due relatively around the same time and while neither of them were showing yet, Saul knew that they felt a little neglected. He'd taken Hermes with him when he'd left a few months ago and left the rest behind and Saul knew that the mares resented him for it. On his two legged form, Saul crested the hill and saw the ranch stretched out beneath him. Green eyes were caught by movement to his left and he looked over to see the bull chasing a white wolf around the paddock. His immediate reaction was a laugh of disbelief before he moved down, descending the slope at a quick pace.

It took him only a few minutes to get to the side of the paddock that she was in, another chuckle escaping him. "He's going to hate you from now on..." Saul intoned, his nose scrunching up in a smile as he shifted down into his lupus form to accommodate the form that the female was in. He was not yet aware that she was a non-Luperci, but either way it didn't matter. With a practised motion, the young timber male ducked between the planks of wood.
