Wraith stuck out her bum and returned her brother's bump with a friendly wag of her tail. The conversation moved quickly and Wraith forgot to give him a sisterly thwap on the head (luckily for Nate, of course) as she was soon consumed by the details of planning the hunt. They set out heading east, likely to where the reindeer was. Myrika suggested that they talk it out a bit, which Wraith thought was a fairly reasonable suggestion. Although Wraith would have liked to be the one to lead them to the reindeer and pull all of the impressive stunts, she realized that she didn't have Myrika or Max's size to fell something that large and also did not have the skill. She realized that she was a little jealous of Myrika because of her knowledge and her authority. It was quite obvious that Myrika knew what she was doing and had gone hunting before. Perhaps because her father had always emphasized the importance of rank, authority, and those sorts of things, which she'd always thought were pretty boring when he talked about them, maybe now she was just noticing them. And of course, she had to be jealous of Max's pretty fur since she had seen nothing like it! And while she was on the topic, she was also rather jealous of Nate for being a boy since she knew her father had always wanted a son.

Perhaps such feelings of inadequacy were what fueled her and made her want to be the best hunter. She knew she didn't really want to be a hunter as her rank in Inferni, but she wanted to know that she was good at it. She just wanted to have some sort of special skill, like Nate's star-watching.

When Myrika questioned Nate, Wraith kept quiet, figuring that it was something for Nate to respond to -- even though she could have easily answered the question. She fidgeted as they walked, wanting desperately to reply and show Myrika how smart she was.
