The voice of another canine distracted Amy from her task. She pulled the knife out, only to be hit by Raoth as he struggled. Strong and proud he glared down at the pregnant female. It hurt, struggling back to her feet. She discarded the knife, anger drained to be replaced with worry for the pups that might have been injured. Running her hands over her stomach she made sure there was nothing wrong. Everything that she could see and feel was fine. Relieved Amy sagged down, forgetting the angry youth that was tied up. He'd still be there later, after all. She'd secured him tight enough to keep him from escaping, no matter how clever he was.
She turned to see who had broken her rage, finding herself face to face with Selene Barino. Pulling herself up Amy nodded her head cordially at the heiress before her legs gave way. Amy collapsed next to a wall, a long stream of curses flowing from her tongue. Glancing at Selene she waved her hand wearily. Help me up please? Being pregnant was not an agreeable state of mind. Selene seemed she was doing well. A beautiful butterfly ornament decorated her dark hair. It wasn't something Amy would have chosen for her. Amy would have gone with fire colors, sharp gold and blood red.
