Again the girl shook but this time not because of her memories but because of the one approaching them, large and black as night. She whimpered softly though she licked her partner’s wound as if to keep her mind off the danger that could ensue from the ebony male that was closing his space between them. She wanted everyone to go away, she wanted to hide and never show her eyes to her beautiful world again.
No. Not beautiful. It was nasty, horrible. A world where others seemed to rationalize hurting another, where it was okay to touch.. Her mind wandered as she jumped almost standing up as the unknown male began to speak. Her indigo eyes moved away from Lorenzo’s chest and to the man’s yellow eyes, lucky for him they were not blue. Though her body still cowered further, her tail pinned to her legs harder and her ears fell to her skull.
Make him go away, she wanted to ask Lorenzo but he began to talk and she did not wish to interrupt him. Knowing how volatile he was, something could snap him. She calmed her mind as she just listened to the dusted male’s thick accent, though what he was saying just made her tremble more, his voice seemed to sooth her worries. It was strange how that worked, her mind was on the events even her body trembled having to hear what had happened to her but just listening to Lorenzo seemed to help.
