RP Example 1:

Grandpa was sleeping. Adelle watched his breath rise and fall slowly. He always was so alert when awake, teaching Adelle how to fight, playing with her, talking with other adults. Catching him off guard was impossible. Now though, she had the perfect opportunity. Adelle leaned in as close as she dared, making sure he wasn't faking it. Her tail wagged, setting her whole body quivering with excitement. She leaned down, large paws splayed for her weight, and pounced!

She landed on his chest, victory glowing through her. Triumphant she lifted her head to howl, only to feel everything shift underneath her. Yelping with surprise Adelle scrambled hopelessly as Grandpa shook her off, and promptly pinned her underneath him. His eyes were amused. He'd known what she'd been planning the whole time, faking being asleep. Pouting Adelle looked at his eyes. You cheated! Grandpa laughed, licking her face. A warrior is always prepared, even in his sleep. Adelle resisted for the first few licks, but at the end she was giggling, gently pawing at his face. Next time she'd get him. Next time.

RP Example 2:

Happily Adelle bounded through the woods. For someone so young her steps were thunderous, beating against the ground. Teaching her the art of moving silently was pointless, caught up as she was in the joy of walking around. Adelle stuck her nose to the ground, sniffing everything thoroughly. She bounded after the scent of a squirrel she found, barking at the tree for a few minutes before rounding off, squirming underneath a bush. Dead twigs clung to her body, her thick coat keeping her protected from feeling any scratches that might penetrate her fur.

Finding a rabbit that was still around Adelle froze, quivering. Grandpa slowly moved up behind her, watching the rabbit. She didn't notice his presence, her entire being focused on the fluffy creature before her. Bracing against the ground Adelle watched carefully. The rabbit didn't move. Remembering Grandpa defeating her she waited even longer, and the rabbit relaxed, lowering it's head to nibble through the snow. With a loud puppy sized roar Adelle launched at the rabbit. Startled the poor creature ran, Adelle hot on it's heels until it managed to squeeze through a gap she couldn't fit. Whining she pawed at it a few times before bouncing back to Grandpa, tail wagging. Almost got rabbit! He nodded affectionately, not telling her that the rabbit had circled around, right back to where she'd started.
