Limitless Choices

Adelle woke up, carefully stretching out. Grandpa said that keeping limbs loose was important for fighting, and that's what Adelle would do when older. True, her current targets were mostly limited to hapless sticks and play fighting with Grandpa, but she still wanted to practice. Trotting out of the room Adelle looked around happily. The feel of the stone underneath her paws was comforting, a sensation that she'd quickly adapted to. Her memories of when she was younger were growing vague, and soon would probably only remember Casa as the place that she lived in, the heritage she held lost with time.

For now though, Adelle was hungry. Trotting over the grounds and through the snow Adelle sniffed around for some source of prey. She might not be able to catch it, but Adelle still remembered struggling to find enough food to eat, and felt the need to make sure the storage remained stocked, taking fresh food when she could. Adelle's nose stayed to the ground, tracking all over the place before she finally came across a rabbit. Her tail beat the ground excitedly, wondering who she could find to help her catch it so she could eat.
