loose lips sink ships [ICHIKANS]

(421) My idea is that Magnolia's horse would spook and throw her off--TK can try and save her but want to stop any pursuit of Salvia as her primary goal. Sound good? :> Ichikan's may post after Magnolia!

Salvia was oblivious to any perceived notion of her favoritism. She was expected to behave as any other member, and did not beg for favors or demand them as her blood might allow. As a child she had, but Sirius had been fast to stop her (as had Tlanti). Without such discipline instilled in her early Salvia would have grown up to be a monster—she was lucky her family had saved her from such a fate. Refined and terrible, the she-tiger of Salsola had worked to earn her position. It was apparent from the scars on her hands and the arrogance in her eyes; Salvia had the advantage of blood but she intended fully to keep her rank because of that driving demand to rule.

Somewhere behind her the shadow waited, and Magnolia came to her side. Salvia looked to her after she looped the rope around the second animal, and motioned to a third. “We’ll take these,” she explained. The other animals were too far off, wary of these strangers. “I’m going to look at their horses. The faster we can get out of here the better.”

She pulled the gate of the pen open, guiding the two animals out. The third neared, curious, and Salvia quickly bound him to the others. After passing the rope to Magnolia, she slipped off towards the stabled animals.

There were only a few animals within; a white horse that stuck his head out to sniff at them in a friendly manner, and a massive stallion that snorted a warning and backed away from the door. Salvia ignored him and went on, where she found two other animals. Pathetic. These were her choice animals; both were lean and looked sure-footed, which she needed to get down the mountain. They both seemed nervous, but Salvia used soft noises to ease them and used a stolen hackamore and length of rope to gather the pair.

She began to lead them out when the stallion, finally taking notice of her actions, let out a bellowing cry. He could smell she was a stranger and unwilling to allow this to break his small herd. Salvia cursed and hurried out to Magnolia. “Here, get on,” she said, and thrust the reins of one of the horses at her. She took the lead for the llamas, shifting nervously and trying to pull away. Inside the stallion continued to raise an alarm, something Salvia could not ignore. “TaeKyung, do not allow them to follow us. We must get to Salsola.”
