Get Me Out of Here

Trent was kind of glad that Terra didn't want his help; he didn't want to help her, not really, wanted to just go somewhere else. "Okay," he said lamely as she wordlessly denied his help and curled to a ball. "Sleep well." It sounded rather lame, but Trent wasn't sure what else he could say to her. He wanted to be closer to her than he was, but had no clue how to, and stood there and watched her curled up for a moment. Then Trent turned away and started to trot away, realising vaguely that the proximity they had was perfectly fine and he didn't need to be closer to her at all, but there was some other reason that he felt unrest.

With a quiet sigh Trent left, moving back to the hotel where he'd fall into a fitful sleep in his mostly-empty room, although at least he had the den-like matresses there, thanks to Terra. Much like her, Trent didn't have much of a good night's rest, with many nightmares and doubtlessly meaningful dreams plaguing him.
