It was only an instant as Amy's claws dipped into his flesh. Her movements were precise, avoiding tearing his eye. It was deep enough that a scar was guaranteed, and shallow enough to promise that it would heal quickly. With that out of the way Amy stepped back, examining the cut. It appeared that Dhiate had been unprepared for it, despite her telling him what she was going to do. Disappointing. Sighing she headed into the house, leaving him standing there alone. Raoth followed after her, smirking gladly. He retired to his room as Amy grabbed some bandaging.

Coming back out Amy cut off a good strip. Carefully she prepared it to cover his eye and help the wound heal. Holding it out she spoke softly. Let me bandage it for you. There was no indication of malice or the like in her tone, acting as if this was the most natural thing in the world. There was no reason for Dhiate to be upset or act up. This was part of life, what it meant to belong to her. He would have to learn this quickly enough, or end up being abandoned and left to fend for himself without someone to teach him how to shift, how to live as a luperci.
