Finding Wayne hadn’t taken too long, just enough time for Regner's joints to limber up in fact which was handy timing. Regner returned Wayne's nod of greeting as he approached, the elderly males own a little deeper and accompanied by a quick flick downwards of the ears as a respect for Wayne's rank before they returned to their normal position, Regner seeing no demands for submission from Wayne.
"Greetings Wayne." He responded to the others greeting, nodding his head as he stopped a short distance from the yellow dog, "I would like to request a…lort what is the word? Play fight? ...no, spar! That's it, I would like to request a spar with you; get the measure of the one who will be teaching my kin." If nothing else Regner believed in being upfront with his intentions, though it often had him come across as rude or blunt. Good thing Regner had stopped giving a damn about what most people thought of him a long time ago.
