+5 I'll actually be asking all the healers to join in these upcoming threads, but Odessa is specifically requested in this one. Rose, feel free to PP Abendrot repeating what Salvia told him. :> Alaine, you can say Sirius overheard or something if you want. If either of you don't have time for this just let me know and I'll make it AW.

The day of rest she had experienced after the Last Supper was short. Salvia had spent the day digesting the mass amount of food she had consumed and nursing a hangover, something she had never experienced before. How could she not feast like a glutton, though? Arbiter. She, Salvia Eternity, not even a year and a half old and already answering to no one but her mother and uncle. No one could look her in the eye or demand anything of her now—and she found this a powerful intoxication, greater than even the hallucinogenic drug that her mother had once fed her. The wine was a close second; she had been laughing through the night. This morning, of course, she had not been laughing. Her head pounded and she had been irritable, demanding TK take another slave to feed the horses while she rested.

Finally, when her hangover had faded to a dull ache, Salvia had gathered the bag of supplies that her slave had packed. It was mostly made up of meat and containers of water. When the horses dropped she would need to stick close, and hunting was out of the question. She pulled her hair up and ate a small, skinned rabbit as she walked. It was relatively fresh, and helped ease the pain in her head some. Water had been more helpful.

She reached the barn by early afternoon, and checked in with the horses. They were all fed and the stalls were relatively clean; she was mostly concerned about the mares close to foaling. Salvia had expected, as had been the pattern, for nothing to have changed. Luna’s teats, to her surprise, were quite obvious and the mare was pacing in a manner that reminded her of a cat. Speaking of such…

The lynx slipped from the rafters of the barn, and dropped down to the floor silently. Salvia turned to greet him, and dropped low to allow him to rub against her chin. He purred happily, and then looked up with curiosity as Luna whinnied again. “I need you to go get Odessa,” the pale girl said to him, at which the lynx flicked one ear and twitched his whiskers. “And tell her what?” His voice was light, but she was unused to him using anything besides German.

“Tell her I need a medic for the Boss’ horse. She’s the only one that will do.” With that, the cat was off, slipping through the barn and towards the areas where he could most often find the dark girl. Salvia resumed her watch, green eyes darkening with concern. She had never witnessed a birth from a horse and a part of her wished for her father, but she was the Ganadera now and it was her duty to see this through. Besides, she wished to be able to tell Sirius of the success of his mare (and stallion, though Black now belonged to Pandemic). It would take time, but the motions were now in place for the breeding project that would ensure a most magnificent outcome.
