Names came and went, and as much as he wanted to memorize each and every one of those names, it was a little bit more difficult than he truly anticipated. Between faces that he knew, and faces that he did not (which seemed to be the majority), Khaden watched as each wolf around their circle deemed their presence. It seemed shortly after Kansas made his introduction that Naniko launched into what was well expected - the war.
Khaden had personally seen what the war did - seeing Ember with her shoulder tore up - and didn't quite know the story behind it. All he knew was that Naniko seemed to be patching up anyone and anything that was the result of it. She talked about the dire consequences of it, about what to do when encountering an Inferni. He nodded his understanding to Naniko, to Lucifer, to Conri, showing his obedience to pack matters and the whatnot.
