With the warmer weather and sunlight creeping its way into the mouth of a nearby cave Giuseppe lazily made his way, on two legs, towards the mouth but he was not alone. The cave was home to more than just the coydog, in fact the monster had managed to make a friend while he hibernated away from the world. On his shoulder sat a skinny, sickly looking white rat that looked around blindly with his bloody red eyes. The tiny creature let out a squeal of displeasure at the sunlight but Giuseppe ignored him, “Shut up Monty, it’s just fucking sunlight.” He scolded with a sharp snarl.
The hybrids dark chocolate eyes searched around, squinting as they moved rapidly like a wild beast. It had been only on the rare occasion that he had left his hide away. In the past month he had left once to find Gemma, and only a few times to sleep in a bed. But the warm sun urged him out of the caves, the warmth soaking into his dark coat, the short fur glade to be finished with the freezing snow and wind. He dare not go back to his room too often in the past few months, the cold hole held only memories of those he had called family, but they had betrayed him most of all.

The darkness of the caves felt safe. Ever since Teo and Gemma had ran off together the dark hybrid had found himself hiding out in the deep caves of Halcyon Mountain. Although the winter months had made the sleek rocks cold and the mountain damp the Italian prince found comfort in the cave's heart. There was a rage inside of him and it was directed towards the rest of the world. Those who knew the Italian well would vouch for his dangerous and sporadic nature.
