Octavius’ red eyes opened wide when Severus stopped and hunched slightly, letting the shift take over and stretch his body out. Once the darker male was standing up on two legs, the white colored boy just tilted his head and looked over his brother’s body. There was nothing wrong with him, nothing at all. His coat was dark, with silver sprinkled around, he had no visible scars and his silver eyes seemed to pop from his head. All in all, Octa thought that he was a handsome specimen, one that reminded him of the new Angelo, Alaki. Their coloring was slightly similar, though the older male was absolutely littered with scars and marks…and his attitude wasn’t all that great either…
Octa shook his head and grinned, trotting over to Severus and nuzzling the now taller boy’s leg gently. You look really good! I like your colors… He got a slightly sad look in his eyes and turned away, concentrating on letting his own body shift and stretch upwards. The white boy’s only problem with himself was that his coat coloring was so damn boring. For some reason the pure white looked absolutely beautiful on their mother, but on himself? He wanted something more…some variation of color.
About three minutes later his shift was complete and he was facing his brother, standing about four inches taller and had filled out more as well. Severus WAS lankier, but that would be because he needed to gain some muscle mass. Octa had been out running and hunting constantly from the day he had first shifted, reveling in the new shapes that his body could take. Shaking himself all over, the boy stretched and yawned widely. He was still slightly surprised that Severus had shifted within sight of a few of the other pack members…but if they were just going to be poking around the gardens and helping in small ways, he supposed it was okay.
Come on, we can just help them move the wood to places where it’ll be useful. He reached out and ruffled Severus’ growing hair before jogging off towards the sound of working luperci.
