Working in near silence he picked up his speed, repeating the manual actions to get the task at hand done as quickly and efficiently as possible, glancing over to the other two males every now and then to keep track of their general progress, not that he was competitive or anything. With the break-less work he soon joined his part of the fencing to where the others had gotten up to, Alex finishing up just a few minutes behind him, a sense of victory taking place within the Angelo that he did not voice. Straightening up he breathed in deeply, both hands wrapped around the spade's handle, blue eyes reviewing the work thus far; which was surprisingly more then he has initially thought himself and the other two would be able to achieve in the time frame thus far. Sure it wasn't the prettiest fence he'd ever seen and in places somewhat unstable, but it looked like a fence and defined the area that was to be the garden none the less; or one side of it to be exact.

Shovel in hand he made his way over to Alex, noticing that the pale male too had decided to head over to him. “You're side of the fence is wonky” the words flew out of the pale males mouth, causing the Angelo's steps to falter for a second before he simply inclined his head slightly. “And yours looks like it's about to topple over any minute. Rather have a wonky fence then one that would be blown down by the wind” he retorted, irritation surging through him slightly; although he understood some of the reasoning behind the pale male's random mood swings, this particular one was leaving him stumped and he was fairly sure he hadn't done anything wrong recently to have set Alex off.

“The hell? What makes you think yours has remotely stable foundation? Since when have you had any skills with making just about anything?” stepping into the Angelo's personal space, Alex spat the words out, retreating quickly as to not push his luck with the storm male too far. Dark ears flicked back and his tail fell still with agitation, “That does it!” lifting his spade he angled it so that the edges were fairly out of the way and lightly striking the idiot upon his hip with the back of the spade's head, Alexander responding simply with a string of incoherent curses and a low strike at the Angelo's thigh, the spades edge slicing through his jeans and nicking the male's leg.

With both having struck a blow, the spades were thrown down, both male's muscles bunching up ready to pick a fight with each other.
