The sun was barely even above the horizon as the Austral giant hauled himself from his bed. Another series of nights with disturbing dreams had been forcing him to rise earlier and earlier. He was alone again like he was the majority of the time unless one of his boys or his daughter decided they wished to sleep with him rather then Aeron. But today was not one of those days. The air was cool and refreshed him a little as he stepped out of the villa. The wind pulled at his hair lightly and made the black strands dance. A slight smile was upon his maw despite the unsavory conditions with which he had woken.

He made his way first to the stables that were at the rear of the villa, there both Faith and Elzar waited for him to feed him. He was greeted with soft snorts from both horses and Faith stuck her head over her stall door. He rubbed the leathery skin of her nose and crooned softly to the blackened girl. Her large brown eyes stared back at him, the intelligent spark within them bright and she nickered quietly. He quickly completed the menial tasks required to keep the small stables in order and brushed the loose hay from his fur. He left the villa's stables with nary a sound, a silence earthen colored shadow.

His long legs and large stride soon swallowed up the mountainous territory separating the villa from the pack's stables. He looked in on the pack's menagerie of animals and checked all was as it should be. The now heavily pregnant cow was moving about restlessly within her pen and lowed at him dolefully as he passed her by. He whispered a few comforting phrases in low speech to her but they didn't help her much, with his thoughts set running he soon left the stables and made his way towards the howling caverns, slipping into the colder echoey caves and tunnels. He rarely ventured down here anymore despite it housing the overwhelming majority of the pack, he disliked the crushed claustrophobic feeling that came over him whenever he was inside it.

Weaving his way through the maze he came across no other person on the way but that didn't concern him, it was still very early in the morning and few, if any, were likely to be about. Upon entering the old stables though he discovered that someone was up and moving at this hour of the morning.

Ayasha The word was said with shock for he did not expect anyone to be down here.
