Saluce was back in shape, the shoulder injury had healed and he was able to come out and play as one would say. He was no fool when it came to prisoner exchanges, and so far the Salsola pack hadn’t seen his armored visage. Charlemagne tethered the prisoner behind him, shackled in a show of shame. It was about the only thing X’y had allowed him to do. As he rode the massive beast his armor caught the sun as the approached, dressed in full battle regalia. Saluce kept the pace brisk, hoping to irritate and make their soon to be freed captive uncomfortable.

This whole ordeal had been one of restraint; he had not been able to rush to the aid of the stables when the alarm had been raised due to injuries. He also had to leave X’y to the meeting with the fabled leader of this pack, but now he was making sure they understood what risk they posed if they decided to once again trespass. The armored mountain watched X’y out in front of him, one hand holding his massive two handed Hammer and the other holding onto the reigns of his horse. Saluce didn’t trust the pack to hold onto its end of the deal as far as he trusted their captive, in other words he didn’t trust the pack at all. He wondered if Conor’s killer still resided within the pack, he had had a chance once to take his life already, and at some point he hoped to catch the demon spawn out again.

X’y abruptly stopped in front of him, he remained seated on the horse as his blues looked out across the short gap between them. There was no need to dismount for him, he would remain seated a top the horse, while letting others work out the details of the exchange.
