She enjoyed seeing Hadley smile when she said she wasn’t expecting him either. She liked seeing him happy. Besides, he had such a charming smile. Their eyes met when Isa mentioned him being handsome. Her face was still red and Hadley reached up to touch his scarred arm. Hadley wrapped his strong arms around her just as he had and said it was good to see her as well.
Isa loved being in Hadley’s arms. She buried her muzzle into his chest, breathing in his scent. Thoughts ran through her mind and she realized how she felt about Hadley. She cared about him a lot and she had feelings for him as well. Feelings that made her hope they could someday be more than friends. Isa would never admit it to him though, not with everything that had happened.
She was becoming a little stressed and tense as she thought about all the drama between her, Hadley, and Selene. Isa remembered all the wine in the house and looked up at Hadley smiling. ”Would you want a drink? I could really use one.” She stepped out of the hug, taking his hand in hers, waiting for his answer.
