It was no wonder he'd been carrying her scent when he met Thanatos. Canines just seemed to hug him when they met him. Or in Shadowfang's case, roll over and show his belly to stop Hadley from having a mental breakdown and go running off thinking a demon was after him. Come to think of it, Shadowfang had no problems slinging his arm around Hadley. Despite him doing nothing to encourage it, and often flinching when contact did occur, hugs and general contact continued in his life. Her muzzle buried into him, making him distinctly uncomfortable with the memories of Selene doing such a thing, as if to reassure herself that he was real, and there, drying Isa's tears, and Sebastian, his fascination with the muscles on Hadley's body.

Isa finally pulled away, much to Hadley's relief. He'd liked the hug, but having her head buried in his chest had made him feel bad, as if something had happened and he had to work on keeping the bad things away, keeping Isa protected from whatever was coming. The offer of a drink set Hadley's tail wagging eagerly. Y-yes. He would love a drink. It always helped him relax when he was stressed out about things. That, and he just enjoyed it, point blank. Holding hands with her Hadley let himself be tugged over to the house he'd found her curled up wasting away in. It seemed she really liked it. Hadley should fix it up for her, since he was learning to do that kind of thing. She would probably like that. Shadowfang had broken a door anyways, so that had to be fixed.
