Hadley looked down in embarrassment as her face flushed pink from his words. He hadn't meant to embarrass her. They had just been words that rolled off his tongue so easily. It was so much easier to talk now, even if he still chose to be more quiet. It was easier to make less mistakes if he thought before he spoke. Lifting the bottle he took another slow drink, reminding himself to not talk so much. He didn't want to make her upset. As tough as she was Isa did have a horrible past that plagued her. Hadley didn't view his own past as bad anymore, simply accepting it as fact, something that happened. The nightmares would fade with time.

He was surprised by the question. Surely she knew why he found the house sad. Um... Should he really say it? They were having a good time, and he didn't want to ruin it with bad memories. Deciding to keep quiet Hadley took another drink, shaking his head. Isa moved to lean against him, Hadley stiffening slightly before relaxing. It was alright. She wouldn't harm him. It was nice having the warmth of another canine near him. He was by himself most of the time, Shadowfang just out of sight. Turning he kissed the top of her head slightly before taking another drink. Guess I'll have to fix the house then.
