Hadley listened quietly as she spoke and grinned as she finished. She chuckled at his comment until he pulled away when she acted surprised. Perhaps he thought he did something wrong or decided he didn’t want to be touched after all. Isa was still excited though and giggled when she noticed the pink in his face. When he spoke again it was mumbled and he took another drink.
Isa didn’t lean her head on his shoulder again, thinking he liked the space. She took a long drink before looking over at him and smiling. ”So how have you been? Are you enjoying your time away from Casa?” She hoped he was doing all right and was happy. She just wished he would come back soon. ”I’m assuming you aren’t coming back huh? Just happened to run into me and decided to have a good time?” She began to feel the effects of the alcohol as her words began to slur at the end. She hugged him again as she spoke. ”I’ve really missed you.” She looked back up at him, realizing her mistake, and sat back up. ”Sorry.”
