Niernans body impacted the forest floor heavily as Brans wild slap made contact with the back of his head, the force of it sending him muzzle first into a bed of pine needles. Nier pushed himself off the floor just in time to see Brans footpaw heading towards Ciaran, the cat unaware of the impending danger. Nier let forth a vicious and guttural growl to warn his brother, his usually bright and light blue eyes flashing to a darker, more stormy hue. He righted himself properly, dusting off his knees and muttering darkly to himself until he took in a deep breath and scented his brothers discomfort, Y'all right brother?
