Lillith had caught on rather easily, and Linquilea almost grinned. Her golden eyes followed the little red creature as she slunk away towards the fox, and the midnight queen wondered if this strange child would be able to do what she claimed she wanted to do so badly. It was an interesting thing, killing a sentient being. Murder was not something that came easily to all creatures. Linquilea was blessed with the ability to do so without remorse, to do so to gain joy in fact, but it was different for everyone. Each creature had its own connection with the bridge between this world and the next, and while Lillith might think herself ready to experience the transition, Lea would have to see it for herself in order to believe anything.
She slipped away to herd the fox, but it seemed to be preoccupied enough that Lillith would be able to take it down without much work on her part. Lea's breath hitched for a moment in anger and anticipation when she saw the two lock eyes, and her lips prepared to lift in a disgusted snarl. But it was a brief moment of anticipation and nervousness before Lillith snarled, exposing small and dangerous teeth for the fox to see. It spoke its final word - no, the cry of the dying - before strong and young jaws clamped around the throat, silencing it permanently. A spray of metallic blood, the small shift in the air that signified a soul being torn from its body, and it was done.
"Well done," Linquilea stated simply, her gravelly tones void of inflection. She stepped over to the fallen creature, moving rather delicately and smoothly when considering her massive size, and nudged the fox with her nose before snapping at it with her own strong, dark jaws to ensure its death. Blood flowed into her mouth for a moment, and the woman felt a perverse sort of relief at its pungent taste. "It is dead. It is not a wolf, but it is done. Tell me, Lillith - how do you feel?" Golden eyes met the girl's own pools as Linquilea searched for something within the little creature.
