Neela was nervous. This was a fairly unusual emotion for the collie, though it had been cropping up distressingly often lately.
The last few weeks had broken Neela down and then built her back up again. Confirmation from both Jace and Tony that they didn't care about her past had done wonders for Neela, pulling her out of the depressive slump she had been in, but had also created new worries for her to mull over. Neela had been skirting around the issue of her "relationship" with Tony becoming an actual relationship, had been afraid to commit herself to another once again. There was always the undercurrent of worry about her self control and the feeling that she was betraying Julian's memory.
Neela had more control over herself now and deep down she liked to think that Julian would have wanted her to be happy. Nonetheless it took a lot of thought and courage for the collie to drag herself to the Casa di Cavalieri borders one morning.
The collie was in her lupus form; finding the more natural form somehow more comfortable for making the journey from her boat. Most of her belongings were still packed onboard and would stay there until she eventually undug her boat and brought it round. All she bore other than her fur was a thin leather strap around her stomach, holding one of her usual pair of daggers at the small of her back.
Despite the fact that she was here under invitation from an existing member of the pack Neela still felt nervous, paranoid that her past would be brought up and that she would be denied entry because of it.
"Nothing ventured, nothing gained." She muttered quietly to herself before lifting her muzzle skywards, letting a graceful howl echo out across the lands; the sweet tones calling specifically for Tony.
