The party's attendees had dwindled down to none. Never would she have entertained the idea that she would be the one left standing. With the brotherly duo's rather humorous retreat, Saul's everlasting preoccupation with the clan's brood and Ezra's polite withdrawal from the scene after a long night's drinking; Lilin considered doing just about the same and calling it a night. What kept her lingering a little longer was the unspoken elucidation she'd caught within Saul's emerald orbs before he'd excused himself. She knew at that point during the night, especially after she'd tried shifting positions on the grassy floor, that the pleasant lull taming her emotions had not been the only thing she'd inherited from this celebration; adopting a new position on the ground, as benign as it was, had been enough to send her reeling backwards and right back onto her rear end.

She would've given up and possibly remained where she sat, finding it somewhat cozy enough to spend the night, but her determination was far greater than the pivoting universe engulfing her in its embrace. A hand breezily brushed her corresponding calf, the first one her grey cousin had so delicately caressed upon Ezra's return. No matter how hard she tried to imitate the feeling elicited at that very moment, to relive and savor that instant once more, Lilin knew there was nothing she personally could do to achieve such a thing. Her frustration was made evident as a breathy whine escaped her already parted maw. However far apart they were down the Stormbringer bloodline, even if they had no immediate relatives in common, they were still cousins. It was morally wrong to see him in such a light, she knew that much. Oh-so wrong and yet, it felt so right whenever he stood next to her; close enough to provide a subtle brush of his tail, coaxing a refreshing shiver from her body.

Applying both hands to the log positioned behind her, doing her darned best to support her own weight in order to stand upright; tremulous cooperation between mind and body finally allowed her to achieve such a feat. Thankfully, the huts were in sight and close enough in proximity for her to vacillate back to hers without needing any help. Saul, being the person that he is, would have more than likely come back for her if she hadn't been capable enough to do so. Lilin stopped before pushing her makeshift door aside, halting to peer over at her cousin's shelter just in time for her dichotomous receivers to apprehend the gulping breaths reverberating from behind her infatuation's hut. ''Saul,'' she murmured, originally intending for her statement to come off as an inquiry. Instead, it came off as a hushed plea. Under normal circumstances, she would've gone to him. But given the unsteady state she was in, she preferred the easier alternative; waiting for him to come to her.
