Eris is by Savannah!

Weaklings, the hybrid sniffed, that same tone of disdain in her voice. If nothing else, the raids had served to establish a firm peace between the two packs -- at least, until someone broke it. The dark-furred hybrid had no particular dislike of Ichika no Ho-en -- the pack had done nothing to her or Salsola, after all. It was simply a matter of business: Salsola had sensed weakness, and so they chose to strike at this weakness. At least, this was how it was in the dark-furred hybrid's mind.

A bird swept down to land upon the silvery woman's shoulder, and Eris took a step back, frowning, though this was the only surprise she showed, and even this was fast to fade as she saw the bond between master and companion. What a pretty bird, she murmured, more to herself than to Magnolia. Her chartreuse eyes appraised its sharp beak and sleek wings -- despite owning her own owl, the dark-furred hybrid hadn't the first clue about training a bird (her own was not).

Her attention was drawn from the bird with Magnolia's words, and the dark-furred hybrid could not help but smile at the silvery woman's words. She is so very dear to me, the coyote sighed, smiling. Thank you -- she will grow to be a wonderful adult, the hybrid added, pausing thoughtfully. But not alone -- all Salsola's strength gives her strength.
