It was easy for Eris to forget how young the silvery woman was. She had proven herself to be such an ally for Salsola, such a good snatch from the southern Miracles kingdom, it was almost natural Eris equated Magnolia's age with her own, despite the clear disparity of such. The dark hybrid held her hands out for the bowl and tipped it back into her muzzle, careful not to spill any of the precious liquid. She did not answer until she'd licked her muzzle, chartreuse eyes sparkling with delight.

Well, she began, rolling her shoulders in a shrug. Mateship has benefits for you and Denver, if that's the road you choose to take. Promotion possibilities, and -- perhaps most important -- with the public declaration of a relationship, no more sneaking about. It's nothing another Salsolian might be able to hold over you, for example. The dark woman let this hang for a moment before she started, lifting a hand and putting it to her chest. Not me, of course, but if someone else caught wind of it, the hybrid frowned, shaking her head. She, of course, had no intent of prattling on about the relationship between the pair of scouts -- so long as it remained unprofitable to do so.

And -- well. Relationships, the ties of familial blood -- these give strength to Salsola, after all. She handed the bowl over, carefully holding it in both hands as she extended it toward Magnolia.
