It disgusted him, the enclosed, dirty feeling he got as he moved through the caves his sister called home; he couldn't comprehend why anyone would lower themselves to live in filth without light, intentionally depriving themselves of what the lands above had to offer. Leaving the guest area, green eyes darted to each side of the tunnel, seeking out any movement or any scent that indicated one of this lesser packs members were lingering about. “Seems like the cost is clear” he whispered, glancing down at the black cat sat beside him, looking either bored or disapproving, the young Nishant wasn't all too sure and thus chose the one that benefited him the most; bored. Stepping out he turned to his left, which he hoped would lead him to the large communal room.. not the most logical place for one sneaking around to go to, but the twisting tunnels just felt wrong to him and he couldn't quite make himself blindly go down them.
Hugging to the walls he moved quickly, keeping his head held high and forcing himself to act as natural as possible, or well, as natural as he could with a black jaguar walking beside him and his black designs spiralling over his heavy built form. The young hunter knew he would draw some attention from curious eyes, but if he acted like he had somewhere to go they would only do that... glance at him briefly then forget about him. Hitting the communal space, he made a sharp turn right, heading straight for the tunnel that he knew lead above ground, not bothering to look around him and see if anyone had noticed him or if there was anyone there at all. No footsteps sounded close behind him so he could only assume he wasn't being followed and so he upped his speed, emerging above ground and taking in the clean, night sky. The smells around him, the cool air, the open sky, all of them were much more refreshing then the confining tunnels. Stepping away from the cave entrance he moved into the shadow of a tree, back against it as he watched the entrance to be sure no one was following him.
It wasn't as if he was running away... he knew he'd return to the guest room by morning and seek out his sister to yet again talk some sense into her.. he just wanted to be alone, away from the members of the pack that had tainted Aya.
