The journey back was long and agonizing. Each step sent another tinge of pain through the small wolf. She had yet to assess the injuries, but she knew they were deep. Cuts on her left shoulder, large ones. That wolf wanted the scars to remain and show through her fluffy coat. The shot the monster had taken at her with the arrow had left a chunk of he right ear missing. But at least that was minor and would heal quickly. New dawn was getting close, all the scents of her pack mates wafted in the air. A comforting sign that she would soon be safe from harm.
A break was needed every now and then to catch her breath, she was feeling a bit light headed. Probably from the loss of blood. Crimson liquid streaming down her leg, staining her light colored coat. A growl of discontent reverberated from her mouth, she usually kept her fur so clean and tidy. Just a little while longer and she will have reached New Dawn's borders. Then she could relax.
Finally, she was there. Fayne crossed the border, a sudden feeling of relief came over her. A long sigh escaped her lips. There's no way that girl could get her here. The silver and red wolf made her way into the den where she lay herself down. Laying on her side so the wound could breath easier. She looked over herself. The wounds were in the shape of something. Eyes squinted as she tried to make it out, it was hard to see what it was from her angle. Soon, she gave up. it didn't really matter what it looked like, they were there. Left behind by that vile creature. Forever marking her and reminding her of how bloodthirsty Luperci can become. Just like Drosnav and the other, like Rowan in that dream. A reminder that she would have to become stronger so that next time she met with Amy, she would be able to give her hell. Another growl escaped her. Just the though thought of those chilling eyes, that annoying laugh, and blond hair got her heated.
