Breath still heavy from the exhausting walk back, she lay there. Thinking over what had just happened, why it had happened. There really was no reason for it. It was simply amusement for Amy. Anger was unavoidable when she thought about it, as well as shame for not being able to defend herself. After all her experience in battle, she was defenseless against one stupid Luperci. Thankfully, her thoughts were interrupted by Tharin's entry into the den. He whined as he approached her. She whined back at him, tail thumping on the soft mossy floor of the den. Boy was she happy to see him right now. His presence was comforting and welcome. With a pack mate now with her, she felt truly safe. She nudged him back and licked at his chin, letting him know that she was fine. Though the wound was deep, it wasn't life threatening and she would heal. The light-headed feeling had passed since she stopped, giving time for the blood to start clotting and the bleeding to stop. Tharin began cleaning her fur, a soft smile shone on her face. She was grateful he was cleaning off some of the blood now so the rest would be easier to get out.
She didn't really know what to tell him, nor did she want to talk about it. But, she wasn't going to lie or drag it out. The evidence was right there on her body and an explanation was needed. Fayne's smile faded as she looked up at him. A flood of emotions hit her, she wanted nothing more than to curl up in a ball and cry. Still terrified from the whole experience. It almost felt like this was all a dream that she would wake up from at any moment. The only thing letting her know this was real, was the stinging pain of the fresh wound and the scent of blood. She gave a soft whine, looking to the floor as she determined the best thing to say. "They're monsters...the Luperci. She's a monster." The silver wolf trembled as she held all the different emotions, trying her best to keep a composed demeanor. She was on the edge of a mental breakdown.
