ooc: From what I gathered there was a HUGE misunderstanding. But regardless of that, hopefully there can be some closure or resolution?

The pack was gone in name but not spirit. Though its size had dwindled, there was still a remnant of it to be had. And it was for those that remained, that still held on to hope that she walked the familiar grounds where her home still remained, shared by those she held dear.

Despite the absence of those that faded away of their own volition, life carried on as it had. The grounds were still marked with the heavy paws of a determined stride. The red trails of mane and blood still followed in the wake of a golden form. And there were still the songs of avian and wolf in the air… more so now as a reminder to the listening ears that a presence lingered and still thrived.

Her maw was clasped around the young hide of a deer, smarting shoulder covered by the spoils of her kills to protect it from further wear of her chore. While she would have desired to call the group together to fend on the meat of her capture, rather than risk them further part, she made the effort to bring the spoils of her day’s hunt to them, where the siblings waited the young and the experienced, and where her dearest friend and companion waited.

Overhead circled the pair of owls acting as the guides toward where their camp within the Wentworth remained. For a wanderer at heart keen on taking the Endless Path with a renewed sight of what was before her, she was more than willing to remain upon familiar and trusting ground. The grass bent beneath the weight of both her step and kill as she neared the growing collected scents and for the countless time, like a mother calling to her children, announced her presence and her return… unknowing to what else still stirred in the woodland.
