It took very little time before she obtained a concrete response from the woman herself, her presence declared and broadcasted by the sound of hooves followed by clear-cut demands. Lilin’s dichotomous receivers had perked instinctively before anyone entered her line of vision; then a mere speck became a shadow, its growth fueled by passing seconds. Before she knew it, the Soulstorm heir found her unshifted form dwarfed by a saddled mammal and its towering owner. The cautionary distance between the two females suited Lilin just fine, seeing as she would have likely retreated and done the same had Eris not initiated it. Seeking the Salsolian out was bold and unnerving enough, but now added to the fact that a tamed mare was under her immediate command; the two-toned juvenile definitely felt inadequate.

“I just want to talk.” As ridiculous as her justification might have sounded, it was truthful. Her eyes squinted against the afternoon sun, in an attempt to focus on the silhouette belonging to a morsel of her sire’s past; the key witness standing between knowledge and ignorance. Whether such information would be granted was out of her control but Lilin had come with firm conviction that she would not grovel for it. “You were friends with my father, Haku Soul.” she admitted then, hoping to spark some level of interest within her interlocutor. She’d never purposely revealed his name before, not to gain any advantages at least. She could only hope Eclipse had been right in saying that this woman had praised him in a past life. “Would you care to go for a walk?” Naturally, a part of her did not feel comfortable treading a territory unknown; a claimed one at that. Although the ashen hybrid had shown no outright signs of aggression, it was in Lilin’s best interest not to linger this close to clearly marked borders.
