One Step At A Time

The large luperci, began to introduce himself and his reasons for being here, when suddenly she sensed another coming, her head turned just in time to see Noah barreling over. Her tail wagged as she saw the glimmer of what once was. A large smile creased over her muzzle seeing and hearing such a lovely reunion of brothers. She didn't even know Noah had a brother. Was Noah that tall in his Optime form? If so, wow. Before she could say 'nice to meet' you Zalen showed up, her eyes glancing to the alpha who was in his Optime form. Two ebony leaders. It was amusing to think that maybe one had to be black in order to rise in rank. A silly thought and imagination. Her bird was seeming to be uncomfortable with all these wolves around, but she craned her neck to give a reassuring lick. She needed to work on socialization, but this was a good beginning.

The reunion cut short as now it became business. Her neck stretching as she stood taller trying to glance at the furs. Nice, and a grand idea for puppies and elderly. Then her eyes looked to the turkeys. They were quite plump looking and her tail wagged hoping to have a nice bite of those. Even her bird looked interested. How cannibalistic. Adonia smiled at the idea of her bird eating other birds, but he was a predator after all, surely Golden Eagles have had a bird or two in their diet. Adonia made sure to feed him more fish than other types of meat. It was good for his feather and brain development. She wanted him to grow to be a highly intelligent bird, even if his species was known for their intelligence already. It was something she made a point in doing, in hopes that he'd be able to master speech soon. Already he could mutter some words, but getting him to really speak sentences would be another thing entirely.

Adonia remained quiet wanting to stay for a moment or two before slipping away to check on Ookami and bring him something to eat. Hopefully, maybe, he wouldn't vanish on her anymore, and things could again progress in their mateship. If not, Adonia would be forced to break the mateship, something she didn't want to do at all...but she needed to draw the line somewhere. Her ears rolled back as she became distracted with the thought, her nose dipping down. A year...almost two, wasted. Adonia wasn't getting any younger, and she really did want to at least have her fathers name passed on...
